Profit freezes or the screen turns black. How can I close Profit?
If Profit crashes, this could have several causes.
- Profit is really stuck: test this by using the Escape key.
- Your mouse clicks in the wrong place in Profit.
- A non-usable printer is connected.
Close Profit forcibly
You force close Profit via the key combination CTRL + F1. Then choose Logout or Sign out. After Profit is closed, open Profit again. You will now be logged in to a different server, allowing you to continue working without any problems.
Can't log out via the key combination? Then log out via the steps below:
- Open the hidden icons via the roof in your taskbar.
- Right-click on Citrix Workspace.

- Click on Connection Center.
- Click on the XENAPP folder and then on Log Off.
- Don't have access to the Citrix Connection Center and CTRL + F1 doesn't have the right effect? Switch to the web version and read how to exit Profit below.
Are you using the web version of Profit?
Then log off by going to the icon with the three dots at the top and choosing Log Off or Log Out (see image).

Your mouse clicks in the wrong place in Profit
Your mouse doesn't click in the right place in Profit, which makes it seem like Profit is unresponsive. This has to do with the DPI Settings.View this page to solve this issue.
Citrix searches for non-usable printers
Citrix tries to search for printers, this can sometimes make Profit (your target) work slower.
Solution: Remove the printer according to Citrix's article together with your system administrator.
Other cause: monitor settings are not set to the same size
- The text size should be set to the same percentage for both monitors.
- Right-click on your desktop and click Display settings.
- Under the Scale and Layout section, adjust your screen size (see image below).
Make sure this percentage is the same for both displays.
