Profit Rest Services (JSON)
You can call connectors from the Profit REST Services and have the data traffic routed via this service. The data traffic takes place based on JSON (instead of XML). JSON is generally considered to be a simple and user-friendly standard for data traffic.
The Profit REST Services support all Profit GetConnectors and UpdateConnectors. In addition, special types of connectors are supported, like the VersionInfoConnector, the ReportConnector and the SubjectConnector. For submitting large files (for example, images) you can use the FileConnector (only available with the Profit REST Services, not for the XML-based connector techniques).
Note:
The Profit REST Services are available in AFAS Online and on a local installation by default. You do not have to install it separately. However, if this is necessary you can install this component by installing the Profit Web services.
