Filter variables

You can filter using variables (or filter tags) instead of fixed values. This is especially useful in filters you save for reuse.

You place the variable between square brackets in the filter field. One of the most widely used variables is [Today], which filters by today’s date.

If you want to filter by a text starting with a square bracket ([), you should not end the filter with a square bracket (]). This means that the text is not treated as a variable but as regular text. For example:

In this case, the text is not considered to be a tag, but regular text.
