Creditor monitoring
You can use Profit to monitor your creditors. For example, you can monitor outstanding items and balances, gain insight into your payment obligations, find out which invoices are outstanding and for which invoices you will receive a credit note.
You can do this via:
- View payment behaviour
Profit gathers and calculates various data for each creditor that enables you to quickly assess the payment behaviour.
- View a list of balances
The list of balances contains the creditors with an outstanding balance. The balance for each creditor is displayed.
- View outstanding items
The views with outstanding items contain all invoices that have not yet been (fully) paid.
- View an ageing analysis
The ageing analysis displays the outstanding items arranged by age. The age of an outstanding item is the number of days between the invoice date and the current date.
- View invoices
When you view entries or outstanding items, you can also view the underlying purchase invoices. In the properties of the purchase invoices, you can find information about various elements, such as payments and journal entries. You can directly adjust the payment-related settings.
- Create a creditor dossier at the creditor and invoice levels
You can record documents for each invoice, such as notes/telephone notes, etc. This way you create a dossier. After viewing the dossier, you can communicate with clarity about the outstanding item.
- Block purchase invoices and release them for payment
In Profit, you can block invoices for debtors as well as invoices from creditors. In the case of debtors you exclude the invoice from collection and in case of creditors, from payment.
- Complete purchase invoices using a workflow
You can use the Purchase Invoice workflow to track and monitor the purchase invoices of your organisation using InSite.
