Configure the leave type for extra leave based on age and/or years of service

You determine per leave type whether the employee has any entitlement to extra leave based on age and/or years of service.

To configure the leave type for extra leave based on age and/or years of service:

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / CLA.
  2. Open the CLA properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Term of employment.
  4. Open the properties of the term of employment.
  5. Go to the tab: Leave.
  6. Open the properties of the leave type.
  7. Go to the tab: Extra leave.
  8. Determine how you want to assign the extra leave. Extra leave based on job type will always be assigned.
  9. Enter at least the Reference date 1, otherwise extra leave is not assigned. If, on the reference date, an employee meets the condition (for example, he has fulfilled a certain number of years of service) then the extra leave is assigned. You can enter a second reference date, that must be later than Reference date 1. If, during a leave period, an employee does not meet the condition on the first reference date, but does on the second reference date, then 50% of the extra leave is assigned.
  10. Go to the tab: Extra leave.
  11. Click on: New.
    1. Select the type of extra leave you want to assign.
    2. Enter the age or the number of years of service. You can enter a number with decimals here.

In the case of extra leave after for example 12.5 years of service, enter the value 12.5.

    3. Enter the number of hours.
    4. Click on: Finish.

In this way, add all the lines for assigning extra leave.

  12. Click on: Finish.
