Configure the absence dossier

In Profit, you can maintain an extensive electronic absence dossier for each employee/absence entry.

Description

The absence dossier is made up of dossier items. If a default document is generated for an employee, Profit can register this as a dossier item for the employee/absence entry. You can also use dossier items for notes, for example, about progress, discussion reports and for saving scanned documents.

A new dossier item is always based on a dossier item type with specific settings. You can set up the dossier item types in two ways in Profit:

  • You use the HR dossier item types for absence as well. This means that you need to enable the Employee + absence entry destination for the dossier item types in question. This approach keeps the setup of your dossier item types as simple as possible.
  • You use separate dossier item types for absence. This provides more possibilities with regard to workflows, authorisation and other matters which you can set per dossier item type.
