Set a default permission e-mail

In Profit, you can set a default message asking for permission to e-mail the person. This e-mail is sent automatically.

To create an e-mail message for opt-in:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Message / Message template.
  2. Click on: New.

You can also change the Opt-in confirmation default message.

  3. In Template type, select Opt-in confirmation.
  4. Enter the description.
  5. Enter the subject for the e-mail, for example: Request e-mailing permission
  6. Enter the text for the e-mail message.

You can use Tags in both the subject and in the body text of the e-mail. By using tags, you can personalise the message.

For example, you can add the name of the user as {Salutation}. In that case, in the e-mail message, 'Dear sir/madam' is replaced by, for example, 'Dear Cas de Graaf'.

More information: Use tags in an e-mail message.

  7. Click on: OK.
