Add Facebook follow

You can add the Facebook Follow button to a page. You can link this to a special company profile or to a person's profile.

To add Facebook follow:

  1. Log on and start Site management.
  2. Click on: Edit (in the Page frame).
  3. Use the mouse to click the position where you want to add the Facebook follow button.

    You can also click Layout.

  4. Click on: Plug-ins.
  5. Click on: Facebook follow.
  6. Select the Show component frame and title check box if you want to display this data.
  7. Enter a value in Profile URL.

You can only complete this field if you have not selected a social media plug-in.

    • Go, for example, to www.facebook.com
    • Log on

If you have already logged on in the past, you automatically open the profile.

    • Click the username.
    • Copy the URL.

      For instance: http://www.facebook.com/gebruikersnaam.

    • Paste this URL in the URL Profile.
  8. Indicate where you want to display the Counter. With this you can easily see how many people are following the page.
  9. Enter a value in Fixed width.
  10. Enter a value in Fixed height.

The height and the width depend on the settings of the plug-in. We cannot decide these for you. If you specify a height of 450 px for the plug-in then you need to specify this here. If you then specify a height of 300 px in the site, the plug-in is clipped.

  11. Click on: Create.
  12. Click on: Publish.

The result, for example, is as follows:

    Ins_Plugin (40a)
