Hide a menu item

You can use a menu item in the structure even if it is not listed in the menu. This allows you to direct visitors to the right page after first entering some data, without the visitor seeing the menu item. For example, you might not want a private visitor to see pages that are only intended for business visitors.

To hide a menu item:

1. Open the site.
2. Log on with the username and password.
3. Click on the arrow after the username in the top right corner of the window.
4. Click on: Site management.
5. Click on: Menu in the Site frame.
6. Open the properties of the menu item that you want to hide.
7. Deselect the Show in menu check box!

   You can also immediately deselect the Show in menu check box when adding a menu item.

8. Click on: Modify.
9. Close the menu.
