Link the home page to a menu

InSite will always display a default page in a few situations. These are the pages that have been linked as special pages. For example:

• The home page is the page that will always be displayed after logging on.
• The 'Not authorised' page will be displayed if the user wants to open a component for which he or she is not authorised.
• The search page will be displayed when the user searches for a specific term through the search window.

This also allows you to add Related references to the highest level in the menu (and banners).

Link the home page:

1. Log on and start Site management.
   1. Open the site.
   2. Log on with the username and password.
   3. Click on: OK.
   4. Click on the user name at the top right.

      

   5. Click on: Site management.

2.  Click on: Special pages.

3. Select the home page.

   

4. Click on: Modify.
