Assembled item request

You can create an assembled item that is not immediately available for use. An authorised user must first approve this assembled item.

Description

After recording an assembled item request, an authorised user can convert the assembled item request to a regular assembled item.

Preparation

• Activate assembled items

  Before you can work with, add and use an assembled item, you have to activate the Assembled items function.

Procedure

• Record an assembled item request

  When recording an assembled item request, you can only select the linked data from the existing values. You cannot record new values for linked tables. And for the parts in the assembled item request, you can only select from the existing basic items.

• Record the finalisation of an assembled item request

  An authorised user finalises an assembled item request.
