Configure an assembly

If you want to use assemblies, you must configure this first.

Procedure

• Activate assemblies

  You must activate the Production function before you can use assembly and disassembly of assembled items.

• Set up an assembly proposal

  For the assembly proposal you can choose whether or not to split it. Splitting an assembly proposal means that Profit splits the proposal into multiple assembly preparations per assembled item, thus one assembly preparation for each assembled item. If you do not split the proposal, Profit includes all the assembled items that need assembling in one assembly preparation.

• Set the suppression of the assembled item window for assembly

  You can now specify that the view with the assembled item lines for the assembly should not be shown when you add an assembly.

• Use Assembly

  You must activate the Production function before you can use assembly and disassembly of assembled items.
