Add and authorise a person for OutSite

If the customer is an individual, you grant the person rights. Profit is not supplied with any Person / Authorisation roles. You can add and maintain these yourself.

A person is an individual. The organisation for which this person works is not as relevant, it is all about the person him/herself. An example of this is the person who is linked to a sales contact. Another example is the 'IB' client. The logged-on sales contact can view his/her own personal dossier. The 'IB' client can look at and review his/her own 'IB' declaration.

When you add a new person, you immediately give him/her access to the portal.

To assign an authorisation role to a new person:

  1. Go to: CRM / Organisation/person / Organisation/person.
  2. Click on: New.
  3. Select Person.
  4. Click on: Next.
  5. Enter the general personal details.
  6. Enter the address data.
  7. Click on: Next.
  8. Complete the fields.
  9. Click on: Next.
  10. Enter the personal details.
  11. Click on: Next.
  12. Select the Allow this person access to shielded part of the portal(s) check box.
  13. Enter the e-mail address of the person or select an e-mail address using the search button.
  14. Click on: Next.
  15. Select the authorisation role(s) that apply for this person. If you do not select any role, the person only has access to the functionality that is available for all logged-on persons.
  16. Click on: Next.
  17. Complete the fields.
  18. Click on: Next.
  19. Complete the fields.
  20. Click on: Finish.
