Check a pension calculation

The wage component for the pension can get its final value from the values of different calculation bases and wage components. These calculation bases and wage components can in turn retrieve their values from other calculation bases and wage components. We call this a train. The complexity of the accrual of the value depends on the arrangement in the CLA.

Description

Profit calculates the value of the 'Pensioen' wage component, for example, as follows:

Pay_Looncomponent narekenen

In this example, the 'Pensioen' wage component gets its value from various wage components and calculation bases. To ascertain the calculation of the final value of the 'Pensioen' wage component, you need to run through the train of wage components and calculation bases. To do this, you use the wage check cockpit and the properties of the wage component and calculation basis.

Instead of verifying a value, you can also analyse the train from another viewpoint. For example, if you want to know if a wage component affects the final value.

Example:

The employee also accrues pension over the salary he earns with overtime. You pay out the overtime using the 'Overwerk 100%' wage component.

You run through the train starting with the overtime component. In this way you can ascertain whether the overtime component affects the wage component for the pension.

The train looks as follows:

  • The 'Overwerk 100%' wage component is included in the 'Pensioengrondslag' calculation basis.
  • The 'Pensioen' wage component uses the 'Pensioengrondslag' calculation basis.

Thus, the 'Overwerk 100%' wage component affects the 'Pensioen' wage component.
