Notifications of your own queue tasks

Once a task has been completed, Profit displays a notification. This is a text balloon that is shown in the bottom-right corner of your screen. If you see this notification, you can simply continue working..

Under the following conditions Profit shows notifications:

  • You only see notifications about your own tasks.
  • You only see notifications about tasks in the environment you have opened, not those of other environments.
  • You only see notifications about tasks that are completed during your active session. If Profit has completed tasks before you started Profit and opened the environment, no notifications are shown.

    Example:

Overnight, the queue has completed a number of tasks that you started the day before. If you log in at 9 AM, you will not see notifications about the tasks completed before 9 AM, but you will see them for tasks completed after 9 AM.

At 9:10 AM the queue completes a task for one of your colleagues. In this case you will not receive a notification either, because you only get notifications about tasks you have started yourself.

Notifications are shown in the Windows system tray, the area at the bottom right to the left of the clock. That is why a Profit logo is shown next to the clock. This Profit logo is only relevant for the queue, not for any other components of Profit.
