Description

Before you can start working with drafts you must configure draft invoicing. You set the conditions for adding drafts in the drafts and for each sales contact. For example, you can set a minimum and a maximum amount to be invoiced so that Profit will warn you if the invoice amount is below the minimum or above the maximum. You can also automatically round the amount of the compressed lines.

Advance notes

You can specify that you want to settle advance notes on the drafts. You can add these advance notes manually as project invoices.

If you have Profit Subscriptions, you can also settle subscription invoices as advance notes on the drafts.

Procedure

  • Set up drafts

Before you can use draft invoicing you first have to configure the functionality.

  • Set a counter

If you set a Counter, you can number the drafts automatically.

  • Set up a sales contact

For each sales contact/debtor, you can deviate from the general settings used for drafts.

  • Custom fields in drafts

You can add custom fields to the entry layouts of the actual costing, draft invoice and project invoice. Use the Management Tool to add the custom fields. You can also add these fields to the reports for the invoices.
