Delete a bank account number of a debtor

You delete a bank account number of a debtor if it is incorrect. You can also change or block the bank account of the debtor/sales contact.

To delete a bank account number of a debtor/sales contact:

  1. Go to:
    • Financial / Debtor / Debtor
    • Order Management / Sales / Sales contact
    • CRM /Organisation/person / Sales contact
    • Subscriptions / Subscription / Sales contact
    • Projects / Project / Sales contact
  2. Open the properties of the sales contact/debtor.
  3. Go to the tab:Bank account.
  4. Select the bank account you want to delete.
  5. Delete Click on:.

    If a message appears telling you that a value is still present, you must first set the correct preferred account for the debtor:

  6. Go to the tab: Payment.
  7. In Bank account number select the correct preferred account.

    If automatic collection has been set up for this debtor, a message appears notifying you that a mandate is not yet available for this preferred bank account. You can then add the mandate on the Collection mandate tab for this debtor.

  8. Click on: OK.
  9. Open the debtor again.
  10. Go to the tab:Bank account.
  11. Delete the incorrect bank account.
  12. Click on: OK.
