Add a discount group (sales)

When adding a discount group, you specify the start date and the currency for the discount group.

To add a discount group:

  1. Go to: 
    • Order Management / Sales / Price/discount / Discount group
    • Order Management / Purchase / Price/Discount / Discount group.
  2. Click on: New
  3. Enter a code in Discount group.
  4. Enter a clear Description for the discount group.
  5. If required, change the Start date to the date when the group should apply.
  6. Click on: Finish
  7. Open the properties of the discount group and then add the discount. You can also add the discount using the maintenance action.

    You can set up a filter in this entry layout, for instance on sales contact or item code. All lines that you add then apply to that filter.

  8. Enter the Start date.
  9. Select the Article group.
  10. Click on: Select.
  11. Complete the line.
  12. Click on: Finish
  13. Click on: Cancel

Link sales contacts to the discount group:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Sales / Sales contact.
  2. Open the properties of the sales contact.
  3. Go to the tab: Price/discount.
  4. Select a value for Discount group.
  5. Click on: OK
  6. Repeat this procedure for the other sales contacts.
