Maintain a discount group (sales)

You can maintain discount groups using an entry layout. You then have an overview of (a selection of) all current discount groups and you can add a new discount group directly. You can also add multiple (basic) discounts from one single screen, the entry layout.

To add/maintain a discount group using the entry layout:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Sales / Price/discount / Discount group.
  2. Go to:
    • Order Management / Sales / Price/discount / Discount group
    • Order Management / Purchase / Price/Discount / Discount group.
  3. Click on the action: Maintain.
  4. If required, enter a selection.
  5. Click on: Select.

    You see the discount groups of the articles that match your selection. The columns with the extension 'CD' show the details of the current discount groups. In the columns with the extension 'ND' you can record new discount groups.

  6. In the Percentage (NK) column, add the new discount as a percentage or in the Amount (NK) column add it as an amount.
  7. If applicable, change the start date in the NK start date column.
  8. Enter the end date of the new discount in the NK end date column.
  9. Select the check box in the NK volume discount column if the new discount is a volume discount.
    • Press Tab or Enter until you reach the next line.

      You will now see an entry layout for adding ladders.

    • Add the ladder.
    • Click on Finish.

    Note:

    If necessary, view the history of a discount by selecting the line and then clicking on the History action. If necessary, view/change the steps of a volume discount by selecting the line and then clicking on the Ladder action.

  10. Click on: Finish.
