Delete years from the period table

You can delete a year from the period table if no entries have been posted to that year yet. The The period has been booked in table column in the properties of the period table tells you whether entries are present in the period in question. If this column has a value (for example, Budget, Reporting or Financial entry), you know an entry has been posted and you cannot delete that year.

Note:

At least one year must be present in the period table. If only one year is present in the period table, this year cannot be deleted.

To delete years from the period table:

  1. Go to: General / Configuration / Period settings / Period table.
  2. Open the properties of the period table.
  3. Click on the action: Delete years.
  4. Indicate the financial year starting from which you want to delete financial years. This financial year and subsequent financial years will be deleted, if possible.
