Expand the start menu with a hyperlink

You can add a hyperlink as a menu selection to the Start menu.

Example:

You can add a hyperlink to an Internet page or your own Intranet.

Change a hyperlink:

1. Go to: General / Environment / Management / Properties.
2. Go to the tab: Start menu.

   

3. Select the Addition to Start menu check box.
4. In Start menu URL name, enter the name of the extra Button to be added to the Start menu, for example Profit.
5. In Start menu URL, enter the hyperlink to the (web) page that you want to start up when a user clicks on the menu option in the start menu.
6. Click on: OK.
7. Click on Yes if Profit reports that no users can be active in the environment.
8. Click on Yes when you are asked if you want to reopen the environment. As soon as the environment has been opened again, you will see the new menu selection.
