Configure an asset via a purchase invoice

To add a new asset during the entry of a purchase invoice, you must first set up the general ledger accounts for fixed assets. This is possible in the purchase and bank journals.

You also configure the Asset destination as an optional destination for the Purchase Invoice dossier item type to allow an attachment to the entry to be recorded as a dossier item for the asset automatically.

Note:

You must also link this general ledger account to the corresponding asset group in the Purchase value field.

To configure a purchase invoice general ledger account:

  1. Go to: Financial / Ledger / Ledger account.
  2. Open the properties of the ledger account.
  3. Deselect the Block manual entries check box.

If you select this check box, you cannot add any manual entries to this account.

  4. Go to the tab: Extra.
  5. Select the Activa toevoegen bij boeken inkoop/bank check box.
  6. Click on: OK.

To configure the Asset destination for the purchase invoice dossier item type:

You also configure the Asset destination as an optional destination for the Purchase Invoice dossier item type to allow an attachment to the entry to be recorded as a dossier item for the asset automatically.

  1. Go to:CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
  2. Open the properties of the dossier item type.Purchase invoice (Profit).
  3. Go to the tab:Destination Extra.
  4. Select Asset as the destination.
