Configure a timetable calendar

The HR settings contain, among other things, the start date of the timetable calendar.

To configure a timetable calendar:

  1. Go to: HR / Management / Settings.
  2. Go to the tab: Presence and absence.
  3. Check the Timetable calendar start date. As from this date, Profit registers the timetable, leave and absence lines in the timetable calendar.

In the timetable calendar, Profit tracks the presence of employees based on the timetable, leave and absence. This data is saved every day in the timetable calendar so that you can retrieve accurate figures and statistical information about presence from Profit. The default date is 1 January 2006. You can specify an earlier date but not a later date (because as from 2006 corrections that cross years in the payroll administration are not allowed).

  4. If you want more than 1 year after the current year to be available, enter the number of years required for the timetable calendar in Number of future years. By default, Profit uses 1 year.

If Profit, while entering the leave for the coming leave year, reports that the end date of the leave entry is greater than the end date of the timetable calendar, enter a value of 2 or more. After this, refreshes the current data.

  5. Click on: OK.
