'WW' benefit after leaving employment

If an employee receives a supplementary 'WW' benefit from the employer, do not report the employment for this employee as ended in Profit. On the employment end date, change the following data for the employee.

  • New salary line
  • New agency line
  • New timetable line
  • Enter the end date of an existing wage component
  • Add the 100.001.203 'Aanvullende WW-uitkering' wage component

    Note:

    Each wage component has a comment in which the operation of the wage component is explained. Always take a look at this explanation on the Comment tab in the properties of the wage component in the CLA. If you do not have the wage component available, first activate it.

To change an employee:

  1. Go to: HR / Employee / Employee.
  2. Open the properties of the employee.
  3. Go to the tab: Salary.
  4. Click on: New.
  5. Enter the start date.

    This is the date on which the employee leaves employment.

  6. Enter the new salary of € 0.00.
  7. Click on: Finish.
  8. Go to the tab: Timetable.
  9. Click on: New.
  10. Enter the start date.

    This is the date on which the employee leaves employment.

  11. Remove the value from Default timetable.

    If a default timetable does not apply, then see to it that the employee gets a timetable with 0 hours.

  12. Press: Enter or Tab.
  13. Select the Variable work pattern check box.
  14. Click on: Finish.
  15. Go to the tab: Agency.
  16. Open the agency properties of the tax authority.
  17. Click on: New.
  18. Enter the start date.

    This is the date on which the employee leaves employment.

  19. Change the data.
  20. Click on: Finish.

To change wage components and add them to the employee:

  1. Go to: HR / Employee / Employee.
  2. Go to the tab: Wage component.

    You give all existing wage components an end date.

    1. Select the wage component.
    2. Click on the action: Change line.
    3. Enter the end date.
    4. Click on: OK.

    Repeat this for all wage components. After this, you add the 100.001.203 'Aanvullende WW-uitkering' age component.

  3. Click on: New.
  4. Select the 100.001.203 'Aanvullende WW-uitkering' wage component.
  5. Click on: Finish.
  6. Open the properties of the 'Bedrag' parameter.
  7. Click on: New.
  8. Enter the start date, end date and value. Entering an end date is not mandatory.
  9. Click on: Finish.
