Start InSite using a shortcut

For launching InSite you can create a shortcut on your desktop.

Normally, you add a URL as a bookmark in the browser and you set this page as the home page.

To add a shortcut to InSite:

1. Right-click on on the desktop.
2. Click on: New.
3. Click on: Shortcut.
4. Enter the path to InSite.

   You will find the web location in the properties of the site, on thePublish tab.

   

5. Click on: Next.
6. Enter a name for the shortcut.

   In this example http://localhost/insite.

   Note:

   You always log on using a secure connection, so the shortcut will always start with https.

7. Click on: OK.
