Create a forecast

You can create a forecast in InSite. You can do this using an action button at the sales contact (debtor) level.

You can not yet add a sales contact in InSite now. If the sales contact for which you want to add a forecast does not yet exist in your environment, add the contact by selecting CRM /Organisation/person / Sales contact.

Starting with Profit 2014, Build 2, Update 8, you can also add sales contacts in InSite, so you can run the entire sales process in InSite and no longer have to open Profit Windows.

To create a forecast:

  1. Open your site.
  2. Log on with your user name and password.
  3. Click on: OK.
  4. Click on: Relations.

    This menu may have a different description in your site.

  5. Click on: Debtors.

    Open the properties of the debtor.

  6. Click on the action: Create forecast.
  7. Complete the fields.

    You recognise the required fields based on the Ins_Organisatie toevoegen (10).

  8. Click on: Create.

You can also create a forecast without completing the sales contact field. For that purpose, the site manager must make the Aanmaken forecast page available on your site, for example as a ‘Directly to’ action in the Sales cockpit.
