Add a logo - detailed example

A detailed example of the adding of a banner for InSite & OutSite is shown below.

If you are only adding a logo to your site without editing it then, depending on the theme, it will appear as follows:

You can modify this entirely yourself so that, for example, the grey area is made white.

Detailed example of adding a banner:

1. Open the site.
2. Log on as the site manager.
3. Click on: Layout.
4. Go to the tab: General.
5. Check the width settings of the site.
6. Open Paint.Net.
7. Add an image.
8. Enter the width as set in your site:

   

   The image is now added with the correct height and width.

9. Now open the logo in Paint.Net. This opens a second window in Paint.Net next to the added image:

   

10. Click on: Image.
11. Click on: Resize...
12. Change the size of the image by setting a height of no more than 100 pixels.

    

13. Now copy the whole image using the Rectangle tool:

    

14. Go back to the image using the buttons in the top right of your screen.

    

15. Paste the image using Ctrl+V.
16. Position the logo in the right place:

    

17. Save the image as a .jpeg file.

    Make sure that the quality of the image is sufficiently high.

18. Open the site.
19. Log on as the site manager.
20. Click on: Layout.
21. Go to the tab: Logo.
22. Select the new image of the logo.
23. Open the site.
