Change the properties of a page

In addition to editing the contents of a page, you can also modify the properties of the page. For example, you can maintain the keywords, specify Emphasis for a page, add a banner, etc.

To change the page properties:

  1. Log on and start Site management.
  2. Open the page whose properties you want to change.
  3. Click on: Properties.
  4. Click on: Edit (in the Page frame).
  5. Select the Apply context check box if you want to copy data from another page to this page.

    The context determines the active menu item and the contents of the context-dependent banners. The context is only copied if the page itself does not have a context, such as pages that can only be opened from a hyperlink or overview and not from a menu. For a template, you can also specify a page from which context must be copied to all pages of the template. At the template level, you can also set that the context should not be applied to pages of the template.
