Maintain restrictions

You apply restrictions, for example, to ensure that only logged-on users may see an overview.

Note:

You can only link the selection to a page if you create a selection for InSite and OutSite based on contacts.

To maintain page restrictions:

  1. Log on and start Site management.
  2. Open the page whose properties you want to change.
  3. Click on: Properties.
  4. Click on: Edit (in the Page frame).
  5. Select the Only available on the current site check box if you want the page to be available only for the current site.

If you have multiple sites, you do not want all the pages to be displayed on all the sites. You set this up by selecting this check box.

  6. Select the user(s) who are allowed to see the information.
  7. Click on: Save.

You can also immediately publish the changes.

To view the restriction and selection in Profit Windows:

  1. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Page.
  2. Open the properties of the page.

To include a restriction and selection in a view:

  5. Add the Description field from the Site restriction heading to the view. By doing this, the description of the site for which you have set the restriction will appear in the view.

  6. Click on: Finish.
  7. If required, use a filter to display only the fields with a value.
