Copy the value of employee master data to a parameter

You can add a parameter in which you copy the value of new master data from the employee. This new master data element can contain a field from the headings Employee, Employee/Contract, Employee/timetable and Employee/Salary.

You can only link fields that have added value as a parameter. This means that, for example, you cannot link text fields to a parameter. Custom fields are also not available.

You can link a certain field to a parameter only once (for example, you cannot link it to two parameters). If the desired field is already linked by default to a parameter in the CLA supplied by AFAS , you cannot once again link this field to a parameter.

To add a parameter:

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / CLA.
  2. Open the CLA properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Parameter.
  4. Click on: New.
  5. Enter the description.
  6. Select Linked to master data.
  7. Click on: Next.
  8. Click on: New.
    1. Enter the description.
    2. Select table and field.
    3. Click on: Finish.

Profit assigns a root number to the added master data element.

  9. Click on: Finish.
