No gross salary calculated in salary processing

If Profit does not calculate a gross salary for an employee, then check the configuration of the employee. You check the following:

  • Contract

The employee has a valid contract for the period in question. If this is not the case, add a contract line.

  • Salary

The employee has a salary line for the period in question. If this is not the case, add a salary line.

  • Timetable

The employee has a timetable line for the period in question, with a number of hours and days that is greater than zero. If this is not the case, add a timetable line or change the existing timetable so the employer does in fact have timetable hours and days.

If the employee has a timetable with a variable work pattern (employee paid per hour), you have entered hours and/or days for the period in question on the 100.000.103 'Gewerkte (contract)dagen' and/or 100.000.205 'Gewerkte (contract)uren' wage components. You can check this on the Wage entry tab in the properties of the employee.

    Note:

Each wage component has a comment in which the operation of the wage component is explained. Always take a look at this explanation on the Comment tab in the properties of the wage component in the CLA. If you do not have the wage component available, first activate it.

  • Salary wage component parameters

You check all parameters of the wage component that calculates the salary. You check whether the parameters that result in the value 0 are the cause.

For employees whose salaries Profit does in fact calculate, select the wage component for the salary in the wage check cockpit. Next, use the Wage component action to open the properties of the wage component.

  • Current data

If you have checked the above points and Profit still has not calculated a salary for the employee, run Refresh current data.
