Add a price list (sales)

When adding a price list, you can specify whether the prices in the price list include or exclude VAT. You can then enter a number of preferred values, which are suggested when adding prices or promotional prices to the price list.

Once the price list has been added, you can add prices and promotional prices to the price list. You can then link a price list to a sales contact or purchase contact.

To add a price list:

  1. Go to:
    • Order Management / Sales / Price/Discount / Price list
    • Order Management / Purchase / Price/Discount / Price list.
  2. Click on: New
  3. Enter the code for the price list in Price list. This can also be a short text.
  4. Enter the Description for the price list.
  5. Select the Prices inclusive of VAT check box to indicate that the prices and promotional prices in the price list have been added inclusive of VAT. For instance for consumer prices.

    In the following fields, you enter preferred values you see when adding a price or promotional price to the price list.

  6. If applicable, change the currency. By default, the basic currency is suggested.
  7. Change the start date, if necessary. By default, today's date is suggested.
  8. For Discount allowed select the line and invoice discount settings for this sales contact that this price should take into account.
  9. Deselect the Change discount on order line check box if the discount cannot be changed when adding the article in the line of a quotation, sales order, packing slip and invoice. By default this is allowed.
  10. Click on: Finish
  11. Then you add prices to the price list using the entry layout.
