Create an appointment
In Profit Calendar you can add a once-only or a recurring appointment. Other Profit users that you invite will automatically receive an invitation. The invitee can either accept or reject the invitation.
You always record appointments in Profit Windows.
Description
If you change an appointment, depending on the changes, Profit sends the invitees a new invitation automatically:
- General data for a non-recurring appointment
If you change the description or the appointment type of a non-recurring appointment, Profit does not send any new invitations to the invitees.
- Other data
If you change other data, such as the start date and time or the recurrence settings, the invitees receive a new invitation. If you add invitees, only the new invitees receive an invitation.
If you make an appointment with a contact, a dossier item of the Appointment type is added to the contact's file automatically. If an appointment only appears in the calendar of the user, the appointment is not shown as an item in his dossier.
