Configure user group authorisation
You group the users in user groups. Each user can be a member of several user groups. A commonly used approach is to group users based on their jobs in the organisation. Each job is associated with certain job responsibilities. Once you have defined an appropriate user grouping, you only have to assign rights to these groups (instead of individual users).

Procedure
- Add an authorisation group
You can add authorisation groups to control access to parts of Profit at a level higher than that of the individual users. This simplifies rights management.
- Delete a group
You can delete groups from the authorisation. Only the All Profit users group cannot be deleted. This group is provided in Profit by default, and every user is automatically linked to it.
- Change the code of a group
You can change the code for an authorisation group.
- Merge a group with another group
You can merge a group with another group. This involves the properties, the authorisation for the menu functions that is copied from one group to the other group.
- View the members of an authorisation group
You view the users in a user group.
