Installation procedure per Profit Communication Center user

Each user who wants to use the Profit Communication Center has to install this application on his workstation. This applies for AFAS Online and for local installations.

Note:

In case of a new Profit Update, every user must update the PCC to the latest version.

Description

The PCC is a separate application that is linked to a specific environment. If you have multiple environments then you also link these environments to the PCC.

In the diagram, you see the way in which you install the Profit Communication Center. Check which situation is applicable for you.

Link a full installation or extra environment

You install the PCC on your workstation. You then link the environment that you want to use in combination with the PCC.

Example:

You download the PCC installation file and install the PCC on your workstation.

You then install the settings file for the EnYoi environment, which links the PCC to the EnYoi environment. For example, if you use the Profit Communication Center to submit a Word document, the dossier item is registered in the EnYoi environment.

If you also have other environments, you can use the PCC in combination with those environments as well. Link the required environments to the PCC.

Example:

You have installed the PCC and linked it to the EnYoi environment.

However, you also have another environment: HeadStart.

You then install the settings file for the HeadStart environment, which links the PCC to the HeadStart environment as well. For example, if you use the PCC to submit a Word document, you need to specify the environment in which you want to create the dossier item with the document, EnYoi or HeadStart.

If the administrator has already installed the PCC on your workstation, you only have to link an environment.
