The communication with an organisation is more effective if you know who your contact person is.

Description
Persons can be recorded as the contact for an organization. You record contact persons at the organisation level. In Profit you register these contact persons as persons, which means they are also visible in the Organisations and Persons and Persons views.
If you add a new contact person to an organisation, you will see the work address and work phone number in the overview.
For a person, the organisation to which the person has been added will also be displayed on the Contact with tab (with work-related data). However, you cannot add an organisation here.
Note:
For persons, you cannot yet select organisations on the Contact tab. You record the relationship between a person and an organisation in the data of the desired organisation.
Procedure
- Add a contact person
You add a contact person to an organisation.
- View contact persons
There are several ways to view contact persons: via persons, via contact persons and via organisations. When we were talking about organisations you already had a look at the Contacts tab. If you add a contact person, Profit will register this contact as a person. In the properties of the person the organisation is specified.
- Block a contact person
You block a contact person so this contact can (temporarily) not be used.
- Delete a contact person
If you no longer use a contact person and do not want to keep the history, you can delete the contact person.
