Add custom fields for entry layout

Add custom fields in the Management tool.

Add custom fields for entry layout:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Management tool.
  2. Open the function group.
  3. Select the file.

    Various files can be used for general entry data (in the entry layout header) and entry lines. First decide whether you want to add general data or data that you want to record per entry line.

    Example:

    You want to add data to a sales order.

    Use the Sales process function group to do this. For general data use the Sales order file, for line data use the Sales order lines file.

  4. Add the custom fields.

    You cannot put the fields on a tab. Open the environment once again when you are finished.
