Generate an ASCII audit file

From Profit, you can generate an audit file in ASCII format.

To generate an ASCII audit file:

1. Go to:Financial / Management / Audit file / Audit file.
2. Enter the year for which you want to generate the audit file in Financial year.
3. Select the location where the audit file should be saved.

   The suggested file name consists of the name of your environment, followed by the extension of a compressed audit file (*.adc).

   Profit also generates a file with the ‘.adf’ extension.

4. Click on: Finish.

   Note:

   If you are using the queue, Profit places this task in the queue. While the task is being performed in the queue, you can continue to work. See: Use and manage the queue

   The queue is always enabled in AFAS Online. That means that the task is always preformed via the queue.
