Configure automatic collection with SEPA

Video
Description
The payment format SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT) for the payment file and the SEPA Direct Debits (SDD) format for the collection file have been developed by the European Payments Council (EPC). A comprehensive overview of all banks participating in SEPA can be found on the website of the EPC: http://epc.cbnet.info/content/adherence_database.
Often the bank will (have to) perform an extra check on the initial SEPA payments and SEPA collections. Follow the bank's instructions for delivering SEPA files.
What does SEPA mean for the collection and collection mandate functionality within Profit?
SEPA means that for the collection functionality in Profit you can deliver the collection order in a Payment Initiation (PAIN) XML format to your own bank. Your bank checks the collection order and then forwards the transactions to various banks in order to perform the collection. The SEPA collection order contains the data from the mandate that the debtor has signed at transaction level. So, in order to be able to deliver this information to the bank, an active mandate administration is required. You can record this information in Profit using the Collection mandate functionality.
An invoice is only included in a SEPA collection order if there is a mandate. For SEPA collection orders, the distinction between one-off and recurrent mandates is important. Also, the SEPA collection method is important: Default and B2b (‘Business’). This collection method is recorded at the debtor level.
The configuration process for SEPA collections is as follows:
