Check deviating ledger account description per administration in reporting
Check if the ledger account descriptions are used in customised reports, analyses or views. If so, decide whether you want to use the default or the deviating description.
To check and/or change the ledger account description in reports, views and analyses:
- Go to:
- Financial / Output / Management / Report
- Financial / Output / Management / Analysis
- Open the report:, view or analysis in which the ledger account field appears.
Here you can find an overview of the default windows, reports, views and analyses provided in which the ledger account description field appears.
- Click on: Modify.
The Data collection wizard opens.
- Check if the ledger account description field appears.
Think about which field the report, view or analysis in question needs to display: the default description or the deviating ledger account description.
- Select the Description field within Ledger account / General if you want to show the default description.
- Click on:
- If you want to show the deviating ledger account description, select the function field Description account.
- Click on:
- Click on: Next.
You can set up a filter in this window.
- Check if the correct filter is set if it is set on the ledger account description.
- Click on: Finish.
