Add a VAT rate

Due to changes in legislation, multiple VAT rates may apply now or in the future to each VAT rate group. You can add a new VAT rate via the properties of a VAT rate group. VAT rates have a start date.

To add a VAT rate:

  1. Go to: Financial / VAT/ICP / Configuration / VAT rate group.
  2. Open the properties of the VAT rate group to which you want to add a new VAT rate.
  3. Go to the tab: Rates.
  4. Click on: New.

    The Legislative country and the VAT rate group are already entered based on the VAT rate group you selected.

  5. Enter the Start date of the rate.
  6. In Rate, enter the percentage for the new rate.
  7. Click on: Finish.
