Configure the leave type for extra leave based on age and/or years of service
You determine per leave type whether the employee has any entitlement to extra leave based on age and/or years of service.
To configure the leave type for extra leave based on age and/or years of service:
- Go to: HR / Organisation / CLA.
- Open the CLA properties.
- Go to the tab: Term of employment.
- Open the properties of the term of employment.
- Go to the tab: Leave.
- Open the properties of the leave type.
- Go to the tab: Extra leave.
- Determine how you want to assign the extra leave. Extra leave based on job type will always be assigned.
- Enter at least the Reference date 1, otherwise extra leave is not assigned. If, on the reference date, an employee meets the condition (for example, he has fulfilled a certain number of years of service) then the extra leave is assigned. You can enter a second reference date, that must be later than Reference date 1. If, during a leave period, an employee does not meet the condition on the first reference date, but does on the second reference date, then 50% of the extra leave is assigned.
- Go to the tab: Extra leave.
- Click on: New.
- Select the type of extra leave you want to assign.
- Enter the age or the number of years of service. You can enter a number with decimals here.
In the case of extra leave after for example 12.5 years of service, enter the value 12.5.
- Enter the number of hours.
- Click on: Finish.
In this way, add all the lines for assigning extra leave.
- Click on: Finish.
