Create a menu item for Competence management surveys in InSite
InSite will complete the surveys for the assessments concerning the competence management function. You add the surveys to be completed for evaluations as a sub-menu with a reference to the template: Surveys to be completed. This template is only intended for competence management.
You must first configure competence management and the assessments for this in Profit.
The configuration of the Competence management survey (assessment) in InSite differs from the configuration of the general survey.
To create a menu item for the assessment surveys to be completed:
- Log on and start Site management.
- Click on: New.
You do this at the position where you want to add a menu item, for instance in the top menu.
- Enter the description. For example: Evaluaties.
- Select Create new submenu.
- Click on: Add.
Add the assessment surveys as a page below the new menu item:
- Click on: Menu in the Site frame.
- Click on: New after the newly added menu item, Assessments in our example.
- In Description, enter the name of the survey, for example Assessments to be completed.
- Select the Refer to existing page action.
- Click on: Next.
- Open the Search window after Page.
- Filter by competence management in the Page type column.
You will now see the page type option that you can add as a menu item for competence management in InSite.
- Select the Assessments to be completed page.
- Click on: Add.
- Deactivate Show in menu if you do not want to see all surveys to be completed immediately after selecting the Assessments menu item.
Publish the survey:
The survey must have the Released status in Profit. Next, you can publish the survey.
- Go to: the menu item for the assessment survey. In this example go to Evaluaties / In te vullen enquĂȘtes.
- Click on: Edit.
- Click on: Publish.
- Click on: Yes.
- Close the menu.
You can now have the survey completed by a respondent. If you have added yourself as a respondent, you must first close the management mode.
