Description

Employers need insight into the contracts that must be renewed as a permanent contract based on the Wet Werk en Zekerheid.

Chain number

The correct recording of the chain number in the properties of the contract is necessary for this insight. Profit has not yet determined this for existing employees. You can determine this manually for employees or you can use the HR / Management / Import employee change / Contract import functionality.

View

A new view is available under the HR Management functionality. This view provides insight into the contracts that must be extended.

Alerts

In addition, default alerts are available to alert you on time that a contract must be renewed or that the chain number has not yet been determined.

Contract chain start date for sub-employment/additional employment

According to the law, the contract chain start date is tied to the labour relation. If an employee has a main employment and an additional employment/sub-employment, the value for the additional employment is copied from the main employment. The main employment is the level of the labour relation.

The reverse applies as well. If the date for the additional employment changes, the date also changes for the main employment, as that is the labour relation level.

Contract chain start date for an employee younger than 18

If you report an employee as being employed who is younger than 18 years, enter as the contract chain start date the date on which the employee is turning 18.
