Submit an absence dossier item

You can send dossier items for each absence entry. Profit will automatically launch the dossier item wizard when you add, change or close a case of absence, provided you have indicated this in the employer settings.

Note: 

You can only submit dossier items for absence entries if the dossier item type has been configured correctly: you set the Employee + absence entry destination to Optional.

If you are using the Multiple employments functionality, the following applies: If you submit a new dossier item and the number of the employment is unknown, Profit assigns the new dossier item to the main employment. In most cases the employment number will be known, because it is also in the absence entry.

If you add a dossier item from an absence entry, this dossier item will always be registered with the absence entry.

If you add a dossier item from the employee view, you must also select the required absence entry. If not, Profit records the dossier item in the employee dossier but not in an absence dossier.

To submit a dossier item for an absence entry:

  1. Go to: HR / Presence and absence / Absence registration.
  2. Open the absence entry.
  3. Go to the tab: Dossier.
  4. Click on: New

    Because you are submitting this from the properties of the absence entry, Profit links the dossier item to the absence entry.

  5. Select the Dossier item type.
  6. Complete the rest of the wizard for submitting a dossier item.

    When you submit a document, you can only select a template that has [Dossier verzuimregistratie] in the title (or templates based on such a template).
