Modify workflow task properties
You can customise the properties of a task. You cannot change the task type.
You can modify different fields depending on the type of task.

Adjust a To be dealt with task
For a task of type To be dealt with, the fields concerning the dossier item, extra actions and a linked message are available. You can change these fields.
To change a To complete task:
- Open Profit.
- Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
- Open the properties of the dossier item type..
- Go to the tab: Workflows.
- Open the properties of the workflow..
- Select the task.
- At the right, in the Properties frame, you see the data regarding the status, options and any linked messages of the workflow. You can change this data. For example, you can add icons, place the action in a category and specify if a response is mandatory.
- Click on: after Task intended for.
- Select the destination of the task.
This depends on the control of the workflow selected.
- If required, change the other properties.
- Click on: Publish.
A message is displayed.
- Click on: OK.
Change a For info task
You use a For info task to inform users that the workflow has reached a particular point.
An example of a For info task is when you want to inform your sales employees that a new improved version of a specific article is available.
To modify the For info task:
- Open Profit.
- Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
- Open the properties of the dossier item type..
- Go to the tab: Workflows.
- Open the properties of the workflow..
- Select the task.
- At the right, in the Properties frame, you see the data regarding the status, options and any linked messages of the workflow. You can change this data. For example, you can add icons, place the action in a category and specify if a response is mandatory.
- Click on: after Task intended for.
- Select the destination of the task.
This depends on the control of the workflow selected.
- If required, change the other properties.
- Click on: Publish.

Change the dossier item
For a task you can specify that the dossier item may be changed by the user.
To change a dossier item for a workflow task:
- Open Profit.
- Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
- Open the properties of the dossier item type..
- Go to the tab: Workflows.
- Open the properties of the workflow..
- Select the task which the user may use to change the dossier item.
- Open the frame Dossier item.
- Select the Change dossier item check box.
- You can now set up the following:
- Edit description: the user can change the description of the dossier item.
- Change comment: the user can change the comment of the dossier item.
- Change attachments: if you have set up the dossier item type so that a file can be linked to the dossier item, then, for this dossier item, you can specify that the Attachment is modifiable.
- If you select the Change features (new workflow) check box, you can select another workflow directly from the opened workflow.
Example:
If, in the Afhandeling vacature Financiƫn workflow, the financial manager thinks after reading the letter that the applicant is better suited for internal sales he can then directly arrange this by selecting the 'Internal sales service' feature.
- If you select the Change destination check box then you can select another employee to complete the task. Furthermore, you can specify whether the dossier item should return to the start of the workflow or whether it should continue in the current task.
- Click on: Save.
Change an attachment
For a task, you can specify that the attachment may be changed by the user.
To change an attachment for a workflow task:
- Open Profit.
- Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
- Open the properties of the dossier item type..
- Go to the tab: Workflows.
- Open the properties of the workflow..
- Select the task which the user may use to change the dossier item.
- Open the frame Dossier item.
- Select the Change dossier item check box.
- You can now set up the following:
- Edit description: the user can change the description of the dossier item.
- Change comment: the user can change the comment of the dossier item.
- Change attachments: if you have set up the dossier item type so that a file can be linked to the dossier item, then, for this dossier item, you can specify that the Attachment is modifiable.
