Maintain a template

You cannot directly change the properties of a template. However, from the properties window you can change the links to functionality and the active view.

To change a template:

Go to: General / In & OutSite / Template.
Open the properties of the template.
Select the Apply context check box if you want to copy data from another page to this template's pages.
Specify the page from which the context is to be copied. The context determines the active menu item and the contents of the context-dependent banners. The context is only copied if the page itself does not have a context, such as pages that can only be opened from a hyperlink or overview and not from a menu. For a template, you can also specify a page from which context must be copied to all pages of the template. At the template level, you can also set that the context should not be applied to pages of the template.
Select the page from which you want to copy the context in Copy from page.
Click on: OK.
