Configure the queue in Payroll
You perform tasks, such as processing and approving the salaries, using the queue.

Description
In Profit Payroll you can process the salaries in groups. This is an (optional) expansion of the default queue functionality
The salary processing using groups shortens the processing time of the salary processing, because groups of employees are processed simultaneously in the Profit Batch Service. This is only relevant in environments that include employers with large numbers of employees. In this situation, Profit can divide the employees of each employer into groups and process these groups in parallel.
In the salary processing a processing task refers to the processing of one employer/period line from the Salary processing cockpit. In the case of group processing, Profit splits this processing task into a number of processing groups. Profit can process these groups simultaneously.
Status of the queue in views
You can also show the status of the queue in the views in the Salary processing cockpit and Declaration cockpit. To do this, adjust the views using the default procedure. You can find the required fields in the data collection under the sub-heading Queue in the heading Salary processing plan.
