Configure variable wage entries
In Profit, for each wage component, you can specify whether you will use the wage component for variable wage entries.
Description
To use wage components for a variable wage entry, you specify the entry level for each parameter of the wage component.
Procedure
- Entry level of variable wage entries
In Profit, for each wage component, you can specify whether you will use the wage component for variable wage entries. This is specified for each parameter of the wage component.
- Entering a deviating value
In certain wage components you can post a deviating value to the Waarde C parameter. This parameter is not used in the wage component formula. Using the Methode parameter C parameter you specify how Profit includes an entry for the Waarde C parameter in the salary calculation.
- Avoid duplicate wage entries
Profit can check for you whether you posted an entry twice (or more) to the same wage component for the same employee and the same employment. Since this can negatively affect performance, you can use the Warning on duplicate entry setting to specify for each wage component whether this is desired or not.
- Entry layouts
You can add a new layout, block an existing layout or add preferred values to fields. For example, you can add the field OU (Organisational Unit) to enter a deviating OU. If you want to add fields to which you want to post you must always add ‘blue’ fields. These are the main fields in the entry layout.
- Configure the preferred values
The fields you are required to enter in the header of the entry layout often have the same value during a period. Throughout a period you make entries for the employer in Period x. Therefore enter a default value in the fields in the header.
- Import wage entries
You can import the variable wage entries.
