Record a deviating sector risk group per employee

At the CLA level you specify a Sector risk group and 'CBS' CLA. You can deviate from this on an employer's level. At the employee level, a value deviating from the CLA or employer level is also allowed. At the employee level, you are not allowed to specify a deviating value that is equal to the sector risk group at the employer level.

The tax authorities always link a wage taxes sub number to one single sector. Multiple risk groups are allowed within this sector.

The sector of the sector risk group for the employee must be equal to the preferred sector (risk group) at the employer level. If a preferred sector risk group has not been recorded at the employer level then the preferred sector risk group at the CLA level applies. The first 2 characters of the code represent the sector.

Example:

At the employer level, '3401' has been specified as the preferred sector risk group. At the employee level, you can specify '34xx' as the deviating sector risk group for an employee that is insured under the employee insurances.

For employees who are not insured under the national insurance scheme, specify '0000' as a deviating sector risk group.

Change the sector risk group and 'CBS' CLA code of an employee:

  1. Go to: HR / Employee / Employee.
  2. Open the properties of the employee.
  3. Go to the tab: Agency.
  4. Open the Belastingdienst agency.
  5. Open the current line or add a new one.

If you change the current line, this may result in an RAE entry. The rest of this procedure refers to changing the actual data.

  6. Go to the tab: Special situations.
  7. Enter a value in Deviating 'Sector risicogroep'.
  8. Enter a value in Deviating 'CBS' CLA.
  9. Click on: OK.
